Go Red for Women Key Note Speech March 2017

I was honored to be asked to be the Keynote speaker and share my story at the Go Red for Women luncheon at Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle, hosted by the American Heart Association of Puget Sound.

In August, 2015 I went in for a stress test due to symptoms I was having. I share some of those details leading up to my emergency surgery. I ended up having a stent placed in my LAD and the cause was long term stress. Like many people, I use humor to deflect pain. I’ve grown through my pain to the point I can be open and share with others. It’s funny. It’s raw. It’s my journey.
