SEATTLE – KING 5 Evening’s first annual Best Fest celebration went off without a hitch in October 2016 at Showbox SoDo, featuring dozens of past Best of Western Washington viewers’ poll winners and finalists, sharing their best with hundreds of guests. The event gave local vendors and organizations the chance to show off what they do best, from homegrown brews and food, to live music and performances. It’s a new Seattle tradition destined to grow even bigger and better in the years to come. Over 500 guests walked the red carpet
and enjoyed tasty bites and sips from local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Guests were entertained by performers from Teatro Zinzanni, dancers from Salsa in Seattle, live music from The Banner Days, fun in the photo booth by Ryan & Jacy
, caricature artist drawings, lip readings, hula-hoop performances, and so much more! Also fun, KING 5’s Team Evening was on-site filming a full episode that aired the next night. Did I mention door prizes? Guests bought raffle tickets that benefitted NW Harvest and were entered to win over 50 amazing prizes from various local businesses all over the Puget Sound.
