Seattle Met Light a Fire Nonprofit Awards at Canlis in Seattle celebrated 12 local nonprofits and showcased the great work they are doing in 2011
On November 14, 2012 over 150 Seattleites gathered to celebrate the first annual Light a Fire Awards, hosted by Canlis and Seattle Met. Sponsored by Regence and produced in partnership with the Seattle Foundation, the event celebrated 12 nonprofit organizations and individuals making tremendous contributions to the well-being of our city. As guests dined on a five-course meal made with ingredients sponsored by Whole Foods, they learned about each winner, enjoyed entertainment, and had the chance to enter to win a $2,500 gift certificate to jeweler Turgeon Raine. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as guests watched short video documentaries of each winning nonprofit and individuals.  Click here for a full list of the 2012 winners.
