On Thursday, September 6, 2012, over 250 fashionistas gathered at Pacific Place to celebrate Seattle’s inaugural large-scale, collaborative fashion show at Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway, a celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. Guests arrived to the sold-out event in style, having their photos taken at a custom-made step & repeat. In the cocktail lounge, attendees sipped on signature Skinnygirl cocktails and wines from O Wines as they sampled appetizers from popular Pacific Place restaurants, including Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Mexico Cantina y Cocina, Johnny Rockets, Pike Place Chowder, Thai Ginger and Wasabi at pnk Restaurant & Ultra Lounge. VIP guests lounged on lush furniture from Roche Bobois covered in Missoni fabrics as they sipped cocktails and wine, and indulged in appetizers from restaurateurs in Pacific Place. Fun was had by event guests and shopping center guests alike in the Seattle Met photo booth, with custom prints handed out on site. Poison Waters emceed the night filled with fashion, food, and fun, as an estimated 300 passersby stopped to watch the show from the second, third, and fourth level balconies of Pacific Place. Fashion show retailers included Alhambra, Baby & Co, Barneys New York, EILEEN FISHER, The Finerie, Karen Dannenberg Clothier, Macy’s, Mario’s, Nordstrom, OSKA, sandylew, and True Religion Brand Jeans. Gene Juarez Salons provided make-up for models and all hair stylings were provided by SEVEN Salon. Net proceeds from ticket sales will fund college scholarships for young women through the O Wines for Success Scholarship Program.
