An intimate group of 40 guests enjoyed an evening of savory food and secret cooking tips when they met on June 23, 2011 at SieMatic Seattle Kitchen Studios for Savor an Evening. Chef Chester Gerl of Matt’s in the Market and his crew prepared a four course meal for the hungry patrons, complete with specially selected wine pairings. Dan Bugge, owner of Matt’s in the Market, also showed the captivated crowd how to filet a 30 pound salmon! A selected group of VIPs went shopping with Chef Chester Gerl at the near by Pike Place Market to pick out local seafood and produce for the evening’s meal. All proceeds from the evening benefited the Pike Place Market Foundation.
