BROTHERTON CADILLAC CELEBRITY STEAK-OUT RAISING AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR EARLY CANCER DETECTiON IN 2010

Brotherton Cadillac Celebrity Steak-Out 2010 was a huge success! A celebrity-filled gala evening of flavor, flair and philanthropy. The experience began at Mario’s chic downtown boutique, where guests enjoyed cocktails and delectable bites while they compete to be the winning bidder on an array of silent auction items. Surrounded by the expertly curated fashions, attendees may have found themselves inspired to add a few select items to their wardrobe. After the urbane social hour, guests were escorted to their tables downstairs at the legendary Morton’s Steakhouse, where a feast of award-winning filet mignon was dished up enthusiastically to each table by local celebrities including Guns N’ Roses guitarist Duff McKagan, Campagne’s Executive Chef Daisley Gordon, Almost Live’s John Keister, former Seattle Seahawk Sam Adkins and former UW Quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo to name a few. And the friendly competition continued during dinner, when participants in a live auction bid on a number of tantalizingly unique prize packages. The whole evening was orchestrated to raise awareness and funds for Catch a Cure for Cancer™. Catch a Cure for Cancer™ is a community-lead fundraising campaign created by The Moyer Foundation to raise awareness and funds for early cancer detection research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, a world leader in cancer research, prevention and treatment. The Moyer Foundation and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center team up annually to encourage community participation in special events and activities throughout August and September to support Catch a Cure for Cancer™. 100% of net proceeds from Catch a Cure for Cancer™ efforts support The Gregory Fund, a special fund completely dedicated to early cancer detection research at the Fred Hutchinson CancerResearch Center. Early detection is the single most important factor when it comes to saving lives. Produced by Seattle Met for Brotherton Cadillac; sponsored by Morton’s Seattle and Mario’s.
